FAQ

Questions and Answers

Everything people ask before joining a course. Cannot find your question? Our team is happy to help.

Do I need broadcast experience before I enrol?
No. Our foundation tracks start from the basics of signal flow and camera handling. Experienced operators can join advanced cohorts and skip the introductory modules.
Where do the practical sessions take place?
Hands-on sessions run in our training studio and on supervised outside-broadcast days at partner venues across the UK. Remote modules are delivered live online.
Which signal formats and tools will we work with?
You will work with SDI, SRT, NDI, HLS and RTMP chains, vision mixers, routers, encoders and monitoring tools that are used in real news and television operations.
Can my newsroom book a private team day?
Yes. We run tailored team days for up to eight people, built around your own workflow, kit and transmission schedule. Contact us for availability.
How do I secure a place at the discounted price?
Send an enquiry through the contact page. We confirm availability, answer any questions and email you the details. Nothing is paid through this website.
